Mountain Sheep's motorcycle stunt title Bike Baron has left the competition in a cloud of dust and exhaust fumes, racking up a hugely impressive 2 million downloads on iOS.
The physics-action hit, which sees you guiding a motorbike across a series of hazardous obstacle courses, was released last October to favourable reviews.
Though mildly criticised for its obvious similarities to Trials HD (reflected in its spot on Qi's Top 5 gaming homages chart), the game has proved a success in its own right, reaching the landmark download figure in the space of five months.
Besides gunning up ramps and looping loops, reckless riders have been indulging their creative side, clocking up a combined 50,000 hours on the track editor, and churning out over 100,000 custom levels.
In addition to sharing the good news about its sales milestone, Mountain Sheep's Jussi Niemelä gave fans a glimpse into Bike Baron's future, saying "new playable characters are on their way."
"Our next and biggest update will introduce Bike Baron in his prime about 50 years ago, when he was known as the Young Ace," Niemelä continued.
Bike Baron is available from the App Store today for 69p / 99c.
