If you’ve been eyeing up the formerly Android-only title Battleplans over the past few months, given its slick graphics and pretty glowing reviews on Google Play, you’re finally in luck: it’s now been released, for free, through the App Store.
The game centres predominantly around two different phases, that of a general game narrative in which you must fight of ‘Skulls’ to win back your territories, and that of a worldwide real-time battlefront. The latter allows for practically endless gameplay, encouraging players to hone their skills to become the best globally.
With each hero having their own special ability that you must work to master, there’s a smorgasbord of different scenarios to encounter throughout the experience. Even if you find yourself underperforming, there’s a video playback option whereby you can check out the loopholes in your successes.
Speaking of the game, CEO of En Masse Entertainment - Sam Kim – writes: "Battleplans provides a fresh, new spin on real-time strategy games and fills a need in the marketplace.
"Players will find themselves immediately getting to the fun elements of an RTS with easy controls to build heroes and squads, as well as scalable resource management – all of which lends for a great experience while trying to outsmart your enemies."
Available now, for free, from the App Store for iOS platforms.
