Sonic The Hedgehog 4: Episode II reduced to £2.99/$4.99 on App Store

Sonic The Hedgehog 4: Episode II has just received its first App Store price reduction, meaning you can now get to grips with the super-charged sequel for £2.99 / $4.99.

Following on from the first episode, this retro-inspired sequel is all about recapturing the glory of Sonic's prestigious past.

From a gameplay perspective, this means taking things back to basics: traditional side-scrolling action, with a strong emphasis on speed.

In a nod to Sonic 2's two-player shenanigans, Tails makes an appearance this time around, allowing iOS users to team up over Bluetooth to chase down the evil Dr Robotnik.

Also, if you happen to own Episode I, you'll automatically unlock a bonus bundle of four Acts which put you in the shiny chrome shoes of Metal Sonic.
