Pilots yearning for fresh reasons to climb into the cockpit will be delighted to discover a series of new challenges waiting to be tackled, plus an all-new game mode called Last Stand.
You'll also be able to communicate with other dogfighters using the freshly added voice chat system, and personalise the hull of your kite using the War Paint feature.
For those of you itching to share your aeronautical prowess with the world, the game now supports Facebook updates, letting you post achievements, add friends, and remind everyone that you're the king of the skies.
