Tower defence title Monster Wars gets new items, levels, and more

Strategy genre mash-up Monster Wars has been crammed full of new features, courtesy of a hefty new App Store update.
The process of customising your monsters just became even more involved, thanks to the addition of 11 new Tier 4 armour sets, specifically tailored to help you lay waste to waves of virtuous heroes.
There is also a brand-new level which pits you against the nauseatingly handsome Pegasus Unicorn, and 12 new Soulstone Challenges to be unlocked in the Monster Arena.
If you're in the mood for picking up yet more Soulstones (and have nurtured a force of Tier 4 beasties), then the new 'Hero' difficulty includes 36 of the shiny blighters.
Plus, to satisfy the hoarders amongst you, 11 new achievements have been thrown in, giving you even more virtual trinkets to add to your collection.
Monster Wars is currently available for free on the App Store for a limited time.
