Marvel's digital storefront and e-reader app Marvel Comics has been updated with a host of performance and usability tweaks.
The app - which we nominated as a Qi App of the Day earlier this year - allows you to browse a selection of hundreds of comics, any of which can be purchased and then viewed on the in-app reader.
The recent update to Marvel Comics for iPhone improves the app’s performance, leading to faster load times when browsing Marvel’s digital catalogue.
Background downloading has also been introduced, meaning that you can select a Wolverine comic to buy and peruse the Spider-Man section while your purchase downloads.
The app’s search engine has also been refined, making it much easier to find exactly what you’re looking for on Marvel's well-stacked shelves.
Furthermore, the world-renowned publisher has added new Story Arcs, Series, and Creators views to its high-scoring application.
Marvel Comics is a free app, and is available to download now from the App Store.
