Canadian developer Hothead Games has reshuffled its deck and updated Kard Combat with some new features, several UI improvements, and revamped menus.
The updated game now includes asynchronous turn-based multiplayer bouts through Apple's very own Game Center, plus a pass-and-play mode that allows you to challenge your buddies using a single device.
Speaking of mates, there are also three all-new cards - Baphomet, Vassal of Water, Traitor - to boost your deck with, which you unlock through friend referrals.
Kard Combat hit the App Store back in July and immediately dealt its way into Qi's monthly Top 10 apps and games round-up.
You can grab it from the App Store for free, though, you will have to spend £6.99 / $9.99 to unlock the game's full in-app pack.
