In the space of just four months, the (clearly) increasingly popular photo-sharing tool Instagram has snapped up another 5 million users, taking its total to 9 million.
Quite impressive, I think you’d agree, though not half as impressive as the new features Burbn has incorporated into its revamped Instagram app.
After the recent UI overhaul, Instagram users can experiment with live filters, apply instant tilt-shifts, and toggle photo borders on and off - all from the main launch screen.
In addition, Burbn has made four new filters - Amaro, Rise, Hudson, and Valencia - available to its millions of guerrilla photographers.
The high-resolution shots captured by the hardcore element of the Instagram community can finally be saved to the iPhone’s Camera Roll now, too.
Casual users, meanwhile, in AppVee’s opinion, “will be happy to find they can take a photo, add an effect, and immediately post a link to it on Facebook, Twitter, and other popular services.”
