Another month, another update for ultra-popular iPhone photo-sharing utility Instagram.
After receiving a facelift back in March, Burbn’s lifestyle-chronicling app now houses an interactive comment screen, a double-tap to like mode, and an autocomplete function for usernames.
All three of these features aim to save Instagram’s 4.25 million registered users valuable time for further snapping and editing.
And with ten user photos being posted per second via Instagram’s service, it’s no wonder every moment saved counts.
Instagram’s co-founder Kevin Systrom commented succinctly on the explosive social / community aspect of his app:
“It turns out if you make something that people want it spreads really well. People wanted to take pictures and have them shared across multiple networks all at once.”
