Highly rated shooter N.O.V.A. 2 gets Valentine's price drop
Multiplayer mayhem reduced to 59p

Don’t feel bad: Qi didn’t receive any notes or texts from a secret admirer this morning either (contrary to our bold assertion last Tuesday).
To boost your morale, and your first-person shooter XP, on this here Valentine’s Day, Gameloft has generously lowered the price of its critically lauded space extravaganza N.O.V.A. 2.
Anyone familiar with the Halo series on Xbox will recognise hero marine Kal Wardin’s near Earth plight, but for those who aren’t au fait, think lasers, campaigns, aliens, and corridors.
The prolific French game publisher had actually taken a leaf out of rival Capcom’s munificent book, reducing many of its iPhone titles in memory of St Valentine, including Fishing Kings and Zombie Infection.
As an extra (non-romantic) treat, Gameloft invited you - the community - to vote on any remaining full-priced game from its catalogue to go on sale for a limited period.
And, so, N.O.V.A. 2 was the unanimous choice among the voting public, prompting the studio to slash the RRP on its Top 5 Qi multiplayer game NOT on Game Center to 59p / 99c / €0.79.
Get in quick, though, for N.O.V.A. 2 and its iOS brethren will return to their normal sticker price tomorrow.
