Described by Macworld as possessing "unique gameplay...perfectly suited to the device", Flight Control for iPhone has racked up sales of 3 million since touching down on the App Store runway.
Becoming the fifth iOS paid title to pass that download milestone (after Angry Birds, Doodle Jump, Bejeweled 2 + Blitz, and Pocket God), this iconic pushing tin sim is rightly recognised by What’s On iPhone as an "incredibly simple game, but one that’s incredibly challenging and highly addictive."
Flight Control’s Australian developer Firemint, famed for the boundary-breaking Real Racing, is also delighted to reveal that nearly 2.5 billion planes and choppers have been safely guided onto its Cloudcell community airstrips.
This equates to 5,000 times the daily traffic of LAX airport, Los Angeles. Apparently.
