Top 10 UK Paid Apps on iPhone
The Night Sky charts high

Welcome back to Qi's weekly round-up of the Top 10 UK paid apps on iPhone. Lovely to see you again, Johnny.
With the return of BBC’s Stargazing Live earlier in the week, it would seem that the Great British public has gone all starry eyed.
And not just over academic dreamboat Professor Brian Cox.
As such, The Night Sky application - which helps amateur astronomers identify constellations, planets, etc. - has rocketed into 2nd place on the UK paid-for apps chart almost overnight.

Meanwhile, with the Super Bowl looming only weeks away, UK consumers have caught an American strain of football fever, as NFL Flick Quarterback sprints into 4th position.
Just behind the wide receiver, I believe.
The fact that Full Fat’s gridiron game has also been reduced in price to 69p / 99c recently won't have harmed its chances of future success, either.
Elsewhere, WhatsApp Messenger retains the top spot on the leaderboard, while chart regulars Angry Birds and Fruit Ninja show no signs of bowing out any time soon.
Will they be here yet again next week, and can our new entries remain in the Top 10 once they've returned to full price?
Tune in next Friday to find out.
The official Top 10 UK Paid Apps chart (20 January 2012) is looking as follows:
