Emergency Standards is an online medical reference for emergency situations, which is user friendly, fully linked and equipped with references.

The Emergency Standards are licensed through Prof. Dr. Roland Bingisser, University Hospital Basel. With the help of specialist in medicine and surgery we ensure that your Emergency Standards are up-to-date.

Now available, Emergency Standards App for Apple iPad and iPhone 4 or 5!

Currently the App gives you access to approximately 70% (Subject to change) of Emergency Standards algorithms which are currently in use at the University Hospital of Basel.

If your hospital is a licensee and your device has access to the WLAN of the hospital, the App will have full access to all algorithms of the Emergency Standards.

The App makes a connection to the medStandards server and automatically registers the iPad/iPhone as a user of the Emergency Standards.

- The Emergency Standards are loaded directly into the App and displayed in full screen mode. An internet connection is required.
- With the side-mounted controls a comfortable navigation is possibel.
- The downloaded pages are stored in the cache for fast data display.
- Updates are automatic, displaying the most current algorithms.

The App is always connected to the medStandards server; therefore the displayed algorithms always correspond to the data stored on the server. As new algorithms are developed your App will automatically be updated.
